Have you ever been watching your favourite movie and wondered, – “Who could tell me who that familiar looking actor is in the background of scene 2?”
I am that man.
Have you ever been up late, you can’t sleep, so you turn on the television and realise that a movie is on that is either a classic or just plain terrible but you decide to watch it through until the end, even though you have to get up in 5 hours and once its finished wondered, – “Is there someone else that has just watched this film (classic or terrible) and is now compiling useless trivia about the film and preparing a critique to share with the interweb universe?”
Well…
I am that man.
Have you ever been to the cinema to catch the latest blockbuster, independent release, arthouse film or foreign film and wondered, – “Is there anyone out there who has scrounged around in his pockets for loose change, that he would have otherwise spent at the pub, to catch this very film I’m watching and then gone home to compile as much information and useless trivia about the film and prepared a critique – slash – review – slash – guide to life through cinema better than any guardian critic, mark kermode, bbc film show could ever offer….is there someone out there somewhere who will do this?!”
